The day has been filled with ups and downs, moments of fear, racing thoughts, and some of calm and quiet, laughter and excitement. Right now though, I’m experiencing joy. No fear, no worry, just pure joy. I can go down a rabbit hole of whether it’ll last and other related matters, but, for now, I won’t. I’ll just keep listening to this Maverick City concert video that I used to love, and just revisited tonight after a long while 🙂

Anyway, this weekend, I got to catch up with a number of friends and family. Some interactions left my heart with an ache, most left me feeling restored, loved, known. Thank you God for these beautiful relationships that you have blessed me with! I am also particularly thankful today to be in a relationship with someone who wants to honor you through our relationship. This road has been far from easy, but it’s days like this, when we recommit to honoring you in an area of our relationship, that make it feel like it’s worth it. I love my people!

Thank you for joy in this moment. May everyone be blessed with a slice, or a truckload, of joy that dulls the pain of the past and grows in them a hope for the future. You are LOVED, SEEN and KNOWN by Him.
