Another journal club where I was silent because what is being talked about?????????? Thank God I’m not the only one that was quiet because yoh!
Guys, these days I really wonder how I graduated with a chemical engineering degree (with a pretty decent GPA as well). I don’t feel like I learnt anything. I remember which courses I took, and basically just trying to survive and move from one class to the next. But what the difference is between a thermodynamic and kinetic process? Ask someone else. Thinking about thermodynamics and her twin sisters – mass and heat transfer – literally gives me anxiety because they almost killed me. I am being genuine when I ask what it really means to graduate with a chemical engineering degree because I feel lost.
It’s funny how sometimes you don’t really think about this stuff, then some days, it consumes you, to the point of affecting your confidence in what you’re currently doing. I try to remind myself that it comes and goes, just so that I don’t give into it for far too long.

Photo Context: I was SO proud of this pancake stack I made (the first pancake I made was also perfect!). This was during winter break and I was really enjoying having the time to make and savor a full breakfast with pancakes, toast, eggs, bacon and a smoothie almost every single morning.
