[6:16am]

Good morning! This is the earliest I’ve ever started my day (as in already showered, worked out, done my devotional). I really need to pull a miracle for this exam; I’m attempting my first 12hr study day (with breaks in between of course). Wish me luck!

**As I post this, I feel a little bad to be putting this up as a full post, but that’s kind of all I had for that day, and I really do treat this as a diary of sorts. Not everyday will the words be pouring out of me, sadly.

Photo Context: Throwback to the first cake I ever baked! It was a chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream. I was so critical of it, but after a while I was like ‘Hey this is actually not that bad for a first attempt!’. I baked it for a Christmas dinner I had with my friends. I actually just remembered that a year or so before, when I had started getting into cooking and my roommate and I started hosting, we would always have to buy the dessert and I would always say ‘One day we’re going to have literally everything on the menu made in-house, from the drinks all the way down to dessert.’ And this was the first time we tried achieving that 🙂 I suddenly feel so giddy about it.
